Pizza Dough


pizza-doughMichael’s authentic pizza dough recipe and some simple topping suggestions.



  • Plain Flour (3 cups)
  • Yeast sachet (1 sachet)
  • Olive oil (¼ cup)
  • Sugar (pinch)
  • Salt (pinch)
  • Grated Mozzarella cheese (500g)
  • + ingredients for toppings



Sift 3 cups of plain flour + a pinch of salt into a bowl
Mix 1 cup of warm water + yeast sachet and a pinch of sugar- allow to activate (~15mins)
Then add water + yeast mix to flour
Add ¼ cup of oil
Knead for 15 mins or mix with dough hook for 5 mins
Allow to rise/ stand in a warm location for ~45 mins
Makes 3 dough bases
Roll out very thin


Ham and pineapple
~2 tbs of pasta sauce (personal choice of extra garlic) per base
~150g of Mozzarella cheese
Half a tin of pineapple pieces
~100g of ham thinly sliced

Cook @ 200C for 20mins or until golden and crisp.
