We took Fiji Airways to Nadi then on to Los Angeles. Surprisingly a very nice aircraft, newish; friendly staff, and safe on-time arrival at LA. We were through immigration and customs, and transferred to terminal 4 in 45 minutes!! Unheard of in our experience.
So here we are marching time waiting for our connection to San Francisco in 3 hours’ time. The staff have all been helpful and friendly in the airport, instead of gruff.
AND it is still Monday 22/9/14 – we are having it again, having crossed the dateline during the night. Sun is shining, very pleasant outside.
